PCSS-M Project EvaluationWith funding from ASAM, the Evaluation Unit of the Center for Urban Epidemiologic Studies (CUES), New York Academy of Medicine is conducting a process and outcome evaluation the PCSS-M. The evaluation is designed to measure the extent to which the PCSS-M program changes (1) access to methadone services, and (2) the attitudes and practices of the prescribing physicians and physician mentors. Data will be collected on program participants at baseline and then annually thereafter. Process data will be collected to track the number of mentors and prescribing physicians, the level and type of support provided by mentors, and satisfaction with mentor services.
